This is one of our Framola Cross Brace X-Brackets, it is used to secure 5 pieces of wood at the cross-sections of a multi-bay Pergola structure. It can be installed on top of the upright at the centre of 4 horizontals to strengthen the inner portions of a pergola.
It is part of the Framola system which allows you to easily build pergolas in your garden.
Simply position the wood how it is needed and screw the Framola bracket onto the outside of the wood to secure it. Then use the small corner pieces to secure the wood internally, also using screws.
Getting the right kit:
To get the right Framola kit for the size of wood you are using, please select from the options "Suitable for", this will allow you to select between 3"x3" (75mm x 75mm), 4"x4" (100mm x 100mm) posts orĀ 6"x6" (150mm x 150mm) posts.
Key features:
- Allows for simple construction of Pergolas.
- Powdercoated in textured black for a premium and clean finish.
- 7.5 holes across the product, suitable for use with our Timber Railway Sleeper Screws.
- Comes with 4Ā smaller internal brackets which can be used to strengthen the wood join internally.

Installation:
This bracket will only be used in securing middle posts in multi-bay Pergolas. The cross bracket can be installed on top of the pergola to secure the upright post to 4 incoming timber posts. The 4 internal corner brackets provided then strengthen each corner of the 4 horizontals.

Please note:
- We have tested Framola brackets to work up to lengths of 3m wood when using 6" posts, we cannot guarantee the Framola brackets will work with any longer lengths.
