- Start by finding the fence post that is leaning. Push the fence back into its upright position. Use a level to check that the post is straight. You may need someone to hold the fence steady while you work.

- Keep the fence held in the correct position. Use a rubber mallet to drive the stake the rest of the way into the ground. Avoid using a metal hammer, as this can damage the coating and may lead to rust over time.
- Once the stake is fully driven into the soil, drill small pilot holes through each fixing hole on the bracket. This helps stop the wood from splitting when you add the screws.
